Refund Policy

Last updated 12 September 2026

Esta página solo está disponible en inglés: una traducción automática sin revisar de una política de reembolso puede prometer algo que no queríamos decir. Escríbenos y lo vemos en español.

The short version

  • Trying Pro: you have 14 days from your initial subscription to change your mind. No explanation needed.
  • Cancelling: stops future charges. Your Pro access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • A renewal you did not intend: write to us and we will look at it — especially if you have not used the renewed period.
  • GlobeMillions: refundable while unspent. Once spent, they are not — section 6 explains why.
  • Email globenomics.review@gmail.com. No form, no phone call, no retention script.

1. Who processes a refund

Payments for Globenomics are taken by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record. Paddle is the legal seller, so the money physically returns through Paddle and appears on the same card or account you paid with.

You can ask either of us. Writing to us is usually faster, because we approve it and Paddle executes it; Paddle can also act on a request made directly to them.

2. Trying Pro — our 14-day refund policy

We want you to feel comfortable trying Globenomics Pro. If you decide that Pro is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of your initial subscription and ask for a refund. No explanation is required, and we will not ask you to sit through an offer to stay.

This is our own policy, and we offer the same 14-day window to customers everywhere — including in countries where local law does not require it. Where applicable, it is in addition to any consumer rights you have under the law where you live; section 10 keeps those two things apart.

3. Cancelling Pro

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time, from your profile settings. Cancelling prevents future renewals and charges.

It does not automatically refund the current billing period. Your Pro access stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — so cancelling early costs you nothing you have paid for, and there is no reason to wait until the last day to do it.

4. Subscription renewals

Pro subscriptions renew automatically until they are cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges, while your Pro access remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If you were charged for a renewal that you did not intend to make, please write to us at globenomics.review@gmail.com. We will review the situation and, where appropriate, issue a refund — especially if the renewed period has not been used.

To be straightforward rather than leave it implied: a renewal that was processed successfully does not automatically qualify for a refund simply because the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date. We would rather say that here than imply a guarantee we do not offer. In practice we are reasonable, and an untouched renewed period is the clearest case there is.

We also try not to let it happen in the first place. Your renewal date is shown in your profile settings, and cancelling takes one click from the same screen.

5. If something did not work

If Pro did not work — the entitlement never arrived, or a feature you paid for was unavailable — we refund it regardless of how long ago you paid, and regardless of everything above. That is not a courtesy, it is what you were owed.

6. GlobeMillions

Unspent

If you bought GlobeMillions and have not spent them, we refund the purchase in full within 14 days and remove the same number from your balance.

Already spent

GlobeMillions that have been spent — on a bid, or on buying a country — are not refundable. This is the one strict rule here, so it is worth explaining rather than just stating.

Spending GlobeMillions is a move in a game other people are playing. Buying a country ends an auction other players were bidding in, releases their escrow, and changes who appears in the Country King standings. Undoing that later would mean either corrupting results other people legitimately won, or taking a country from someone who did nothing wrong. Neither is fair to them.

If a refund is issued for GlobeMillions that were already spent — for example after a chargeback — the purchase is reversed with a compensating ledger entry and your balance can go negative. Ownership already won is not revoked. Spending is blocked until the balance returns to zero through normal play.

Why delivery is instant

GlobeMillions are credited immediately, on purpose — waiting two weeks for currency you bought would make the feature pointless. Where the law treats instant delivery of digital content as something you have to ask for, checkout asks you to confirm it before taking payment, and explains what confirming means.

We then go further than we have to and refund unspent GlobeMillions anyway, as above. The only thing outside that is currency you have already used.

7. How to ask

Email globenomics.review@gmail.com from the address on your account, or with the order number from your Paddle receipt. Tell us what you bought.

  • We reply within 3 working days, usually the same day.
  • Approved refunds are submitted to Paddle immediately and typically reach your card in 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot send them anywhere else.
  • If we say no, we will say why, and you can reply and push back. There is no appeal process to navigate — it is the same person reading it.

8. Chargebacks

If something went wrong, please write to us before asking your bank to reverse the payment. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refunded amount and takes months to resolve, whereas an email usually takes a day — and we have never needed a dispute to agree that a broken purchase should be refunded.

Accounts with a pattern of buying GlobeMillions, spending them, and then charging back may have earning suspended while we look into it. That is aimed at deliberate abuse, not at anyone with a genuine complaint.

9. What this policy does not cover

  • GlobeMillions earned by playing, referrals or bonuses. Nothing was paid for them, so there is nothing to refund.
  • A country whose 24-hour ownership has expired. Expiry is how the game works, not a fault.
  • Losing an auction. Escrow from a losing bid is released back to your balance automatically, so no money is involved.
  • A change to the economy — rates, prices or limits. These are tuned as the game develops, and that is described in the Terms of Service.

10. Your rights under local law

Nothing in this policy replaces, reduces or overrides the rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law applies and you should rely on it.

The two are separate things, and we would rather not blur them: the 14 days described in section 2 is a commitment we are making, not a description of what any particular law requires of us. We offer it everywhere, including where nothing obliges us to.

EU residents can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform, though we would much rather you wrote to us first and gave us a chance to fix it.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A purchase is always covered by the policy that was published on the day you made it — a refund promise you relied on cannot be withdrawn after the fact.
